Amazing. A real trip in the autentic japanese cusine!

Lugar tranquilo, bien decorado y limpio. Todo lo que pedimos fue exquisito, recuerdo buñuelos de pulpo y la escalera de sushi. Y una copita de sake. Gracias.

Shuwa Shuwa has become my second home in Madrid. I’ve been here dozens of times, and it remains one of the most authentic Japanese experiences I’ve found in Spain. Everything feels genuine—from the sake selection and food to the music and atmosphere. What really sets this place apart is the team: they have certified international kikisake-shi (sake sommeliers) who can expertly guide you through an impressive range of sake options and help you discover what suits your palate. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of both the food and the drinks. There’s no gimmick, no unnecessary fuss—just outstanding Japanese cuisine, excellent sake, and consistently warm, professional service. Both Angel and Megumi are the best! If you’re looking for a legit Japanese spot in Madrid, Shuwa Shuwa is hard to beat. Highly recommended.
